They will connect with each other and celebrate together the gospel that empowers them to be all things to all people. Our desire for the 90 minute breakout sessions is that they be highly interactive. Please design your workshop using the best practices for Adult Education.

You might consider using a TED talk format (20 minutes or less for presenting) and using the Experiential Learning Model (see illustration below) for your session.

Note: the “Experiencing” could be your 20 minute or less presentation. It could also be an instrument, an interactive game, a visual aid, or a video. Then, you would facilitate the four steps that follow. You may choose to not use this exact pattern, however, PROFESSIONAL INTERACTION AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS is a clear goal for the Educators Conference.

We are especially seeking presenters who are practitioners in the classroom to present 90 minute workshops on topics in the following areas of professional development in general using the format outlined above.

Faith Formation (Personal or Classroom)
Interactive Learning
Academic Enrichment/Instruction
Motivating students to develop their own talents
Action Based Learning
Music
Early Childhood
Curricular Specialties (Math, Science, English, etc.)

DEADLINE to submit for consideration: MARCH 18, 2016

The Planning Committee will be meeting soon to evaluate the submitted proposals, and will notify presenters shortly. We hope that you will submit a proposal. We strongly encourage you to submit your proposal as soon as possible before the workshop slots fill up. Thank you!
