Recognized Service Organization (RSO) Loans

An organization or RSO is a separately incorporated service organization formally recognized by the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod that extends the mission and ministry of the Synod, but is not part of the Synod’s constitutional structure. LCEF recognizes that financing a loan to purchase, construct or renovate property is a major undertaking. LCEF understands your Organization’s desire to serve people in His name, yet the need to be fiscally responsible. We will help you through the process with care and professionalism, always keeping the mission at the heart of our work together.

Types of loans available for Organization/RSO:

  • Secured (new and refinances)
Equipment/property purchase, repairs, replace heating/air conditioning systems, or other capital improvements and refinance existing loans.
  • Construction
Construction of new buildings and/or renovations.
  • Construction Bridge
Funds for short term financing to fill the gap between construction completion and building fund dollars being received.

LCEF’s construction and bridge loans have just one closing, saving your organization time and money.
  • Lines-of-credit
For anticipated cash flow fluctuations in operating budget.
  • Soft Cost
Provides “working capital” for preconstruction related costs (e.g., architect/design, engineering fees, market studies, capital campaign expenses and special assessments).
  • Unsecured
May be written in aggregate of up to $100,000.
