Disaster relief is the urgent, hands-on care and financial assistance provided to individuals and families immediately following a crisis like a hurricane, flood, or severe storm.
This year’s conference offering will go to the FLGA Disaster Relief Fund, which directly impacts recovery efforts by:
- Mobilizing Immediate Action: Deploys trained, certified volunteers equipped with the tools necessary to clear dangerous debris, tarp roofs, and stabilize damaged homes.
- Providing Essential Equipment: Funds crucial supplies, from chainsaws and safety gear to relief vehicles and emergency tools, ensuring teams can work safely and efficiently.
- Delivering Care and Community Presence: Supports financial, emotional and physical presence needed to help families navigate the complex road to rebuilding following disasters.
Your generous gift through the conference offering supports the District’s Disaster Relief Fund, equipping volunteers to be the hands and feet of Jesus when disaster strikes and providing financial assistance to individuals, families, and churches facing times of need.

A contribution designated (restricted) for a specific purpose, when accepted, will be used only to fund expenses related to that purpose. Occasionally, we may receive more in contributions for a particular purpose than can be wisely applied to it in the foreseeable future or the purpose may cease to be feasible. In these situations, the Florida-Georgia District will make reasonable attempts to contact contributors to apply their contribution toward another aspect of ministry that aligns closely to the contributor’s goals and values. If a contributor cannot be contacted, the Florida-Georgia District will use the gift to meet a similar pressing need that most closely matches the contributor’s original intent.
