A CHURCH FOR YOUR CITY
We love churches. Lutheran churches in some cities are beautiful old church buildings with lots of history. The traditional image of a church often involves stained glass, hymns or praise music, and a structure set apart—a sanctuary in the city, but not always truly of or for it. What does it mean to be a Christian community for the city? This isn’t just about occupying a building; it’s about embodying a mission: becoming a church not only in the city but for the city. This shift in focus moves the church from being a consumer of acres and resources to a contributor and catalyst for positive change
