The Student Loan Repayment Program provides grants to current rostered church workers, both full and part-time, to help repay college and/or seminary education loans. Grants will be awarded based on need, an individual’s personal financial contributions and commitments, special circumstances, and availability of funds. The minimum debt balance eligible for a grant is $4,000.00.
The Student Loan Repayment Program:
- Is for rostered church workers, both full and part-time employed, currently serving in Florida-Georgia District congregations, schools, or missions.
- Assists in repaying college and/or seminary education loans.
- Is available in the first ten years of continuous service within the Florida-Georgia District after graduation, commissioning, or ordination.
Applications will be accepted through November 26, 2023.

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
