  • February 11 | Who Are Your Three?: We often tell people, “I’ll pray for you,” or maybe we even keep a prayer list or diary. Learn about this simple tool for engaging with a few others in prayer and service. What will God do if you pray intentionally for a small group of people? Join the conversation, hear stories, and start praying!
  • February 25 | Christian Identity (Part 2): Many are searching for “identity” and desire a place to belong. What does your identity as a Child of God mean regarding daily life and relationships? How does awareness of “Whose” we are impact our calling to make disciples? Is this simply another thing to “do” in our already busy lives – or is there another way to understand it?
  • March 11 | Healthy Ministry for Healthy Mission – Part 1: What does the relationship between worker health and effective mission work look like? How can congregations help their workers to promote and stay healthy spiritually, physically, emotionally? What resources are available to promote wholistic wellness for workers and lay leaders – and how might these contribute to a healthy mission and outreach ministry? Join us to learn and discuss. This session will come to you live from the Veterans of the Cross Retreat, with President Emeritus Greg Walton as our guest. Rev. Dr. Walton now serves as the leader of Grace Place, an LCEF Ministry.
  • March 25 | Healthy Ministry for Healthy Missions – Part 2: We continue our conversation with President Emeritus Greg Walton, LCEF Grace Place Ministry. What does the relationship between worker health and effective mission work look like? How can congregations help their workers to promote and stay healthy spiritually, physically, emotionally? What resources are available to promote wholistic wellness for workers and lay leaders – and how might these contribute to a healthy mission and outreach ministry? Join us to learn and share healthy practices for yourself and others.
  • April 8 | Engaging Communities • A Key Outreach Action – Part 1: How can your congregation move beyond the church doors to become actively involved in your community? How is God using your congregation as salt and light in your neighborhoods? Where do you begin? Today we’ll take a look at how demographic tools can help us get started.  Join us to share what works and get started!
  • April 22 | Engaging Communities • A Key Outreach Action – Part 2: How can your congregation move beyond the church doors to become actively involved in your community? This second session will focus on discovering community needs and assets and how they can be open doors to serving and loving the community.
  • May 13 | The Florida-Georgia District Culture of Disciple-Making – Part 1: We envision our FLGA Congregations aligned around the God-given culture of disciple-making. Where do we begin? How do you define a “disciple?” How is your congregation making them, and how can we make more? Join the disciple-making conversation, learning, and story-sharing.
  • May 27 | The Florida-Georgia District Culture of Disciple-Making – Part 2: We envision our FLGA Congregations aligned around the God-given culture of disciple-making. What if Disciple-Making is not perceived as a value of your congregation? Is it really the #1 work of every Christian and every Christian Congregation?  Join us to learn of some resources that can be used simply and by anyone who is a follower of Jesus.
  • June 10 | What I learned at the FLGA District Convention: The FLGA District Convention, June 5-7, is now history. The theme was “Compelled.” What are we compelled to do as we return home? What are some of the key issues from the Convention for every congregation? This is the final Transformation Tuesday hosted by Rev. Dr. Peter Meier, who will retire this month. Come and meet the new Executive Director of Missions and Outreach!

Contact Peter Meier, FLGA District Executive Director of Missions and Outreach, for more details.
