Backyard

In Miami, a once-thriving church suddenly finds itself in decline. As the neighborhood’s demographics shift, the pews empty and financial reserves dwindle. This story isn’t unique; it is the reality for thousands of congregations worldwide facing a rapidly changing culture.

The question is: Will your ministry adapt or disappear?

This free, five-session course provides the tools to bridge the gap between your church and your community. You will learn to speak the language of your neighbors, addressing their specific hopes and fears with the timeless Gospel.

Over five lessons, you will learn from practitioners immersed in the work of Gospel Contextualization. You won’t just study theory; you’ll begin researching your own community to develop a plan that effectively articulates and embodies the Gospel where you live.

This course uses a real world, case-study from a South Florida church that was dying and revitalized to fit its neighborhood. You will be equipped with tools and resources to understand your own ministry context.
