Florida-Georgia Lutheran Early Response (FGLER) is a recognized service organization (RSO) of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). They are a 100% volunteer disaster response nonprofit organization operating primarily in Florida and Georgia.
FGLER’s mission is to serve LCMS pastors, congregations, and communities in the Florida and Georgia area and beyond by preparing for, responding to, and managing disasters as an outreach ministry.
FGLER supports the mission of the District Disaster Response Coordinators (DDRC). The group is comprised of members from the FLGA and SELC District congregations who have been trained in LCMS Disaster Response Lutheran Early Response Trainings (LERT).
