Please join in the fun at the Florida-Georgia District Event!
We will eat and celebrate with THE quintessential New Orleans tradition, The Second Line. Watch this Second Line video for inspiration! The experience is so unique that your youth will talk about it for some time.
An added advantage to attending the District Gathering is that the planning is done for you! No dinner plans to make and a built-in plan to get to the Superdome on time.
The event will begin at the Joy Theater with food, beverages, and music. We have a large group, so please know there won’t be table seating for everyone. The goal is to mix and mingle. This is an opportunity for you and your group to meet with other adults and youth from all over Florida and Georgia.
A little after 7 pm, we will join the Second Line to the Dome. The goal is to arrive at the Dome as the doors open for the Mass Event. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the theater to the Superdome.

LCMS Youth Gathering Zoom Updates
Adults leading groups to the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans in 2025 are encouraged to join the Gathering staff on ZOOM on the second Thursday of each month leading up to the Gathering.
If you previously registered for the Update and can
no longer attend, please cancel your registration
so that others can join.
Can’t make it? No worries! Gathering Update Zoom recordings will be uploaded to the Gathering YouTube channel.
