2011 IRS Mileage Rates
Beginning July 1, 2011, the IRS increased the standard business mileage rate to 55.5 cents per mile (from 51 cents). The standard medical and moving mileage rate increased to 23.5 cents per mile (from 19 cents). The rate used for charitable purposes, set by statute rather than IRS, remains at 14 cents per mile.
