Treasurer Workshop

The Florida Georgia District will host a Treasurer's Workshop via ZOOM on February 15, 2025, from 10 am - 1:30 pm EST.

Join Elaine Sommerville and Rusty Huseman as they explore 10 areas of tax and financial accounting rules that can hinder church operations.

The session will include basic operating principles for compensation planning and reporting, expense documentation, and navigating the confusing changes in the rules related to the Fair Labor Standards Act. It will also discuss the challenges facing churches operating schools. In addition to the presentation, participants should bring their own questions to address during the meeting’s Q&A period.
