Cross Take Home Activity

Wes will be leading us in a craft “a faith you can grip on to.”

For this craft, you’ll need a cross from the Cross Makers of Seward..  You can see some of the crosses on their Facebook and Etsy pages.  To order call 402-643-0115 between 9 AM – Noon. The crosses are $4 each plus shipping for the order. Make sure to mention you are ordering for the FLGA MSYG and you want the “unstained” crosses.

Order by October 28th to ensure they arrive before the event.

Wes is going to lead the student through the activity. It is a very simple craft, a reminder of how we are Gripped.

The craft will be to decorate the cross how the students seem fit. They will be given suggestions such as:

• Write the verse

• draw a heart,

• write Gripped and the date etc.

Sharpie/Markers would probably work best.  You’ll be drawing on wood so some colors may not show as well.

There will only be a short time during the gathering for students to work on them, so you may want to have them work on them at home or at a later time.

The crosses are made to be easily gripped in the hand. Very good for prayer crosses!
