Miracle Grow funds were used to help purchase Bibles for the Blessing of the Bibles event on October 10 and 12 at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz in Orlando, FL. More than 40 Bibles, Beginner Bibles for younger students and Faith Alive Bibles for older, were distributed to children during their worship services and in Preschool Chapel.
Children were led in a Blessing of the Bibles prayer and encouraged to use their Bibles, “like a flashlight uses batteries,” to let their light shine. A workshop was also offered to help older children and parents learn how to use their Faith Alive Bibles.
